Marie-Clémentine Judith Solignac was a French supercentenarian from Auvergne, France, who was born on 7 September 1894. Solignac was the fourth-oldest person in the world for two months following the death of Arbella Ewing, who died just 9 days after her 114th birthday. Solignac was living at the same nursing home as her daughter at one point. Her daughter died on 20 September 2007 at the age of 91.
Solignac died on 25 May 2008 at the age of 113 years, 261 days.
She had held the title of oldest French person for 253 days, which means she was just over one week into her 113th birthday when she succeeded the title.
Solignac died as the 88th oldest person ever. In December 2009, she was demoted to 101st place with the entrance of Daisey Bailey and Florrie Baldwin (who, incidentally, celebrates her 114th birthday today).
