Maggie Renfro nee Thornton, shown in light purple above, was born on November 14, 1895. She originally claimed to be born in 1894; however, a 1910 census proved otherwise. She was the fourth of 11 children in her family. She attributed her long life to being "a good servant for God." "Love everybody; treat everybody right,"
Renfro had two sisters who lived to be centenarians: Rosie Warren (in red), 103, and Carrie Miller (in blue), 107. All three sisters set a record for the oldest living combined sisters in the world, with a record combined age of 324 years!
On 18 December 2009, Rosie died.
On 5 January 2010, Carrie also died.
On 22 January 2010, Maggie died of pnuemonia at the age of 114 years and 69 days.
